Yesterday, Njegoš Park hosted the central event of Youth Week, bringing us together to celebrate International Youth Day – 12 August.
Many young people, as well as citizens, had the opportunity to take part in a variety of activities – from a yoga class, Paint & Chill workshop and Vinyl Record Fair, to an open-air concert that brought the evening to a close.
In one place, we brought together recreational, artistic, cultural and entertainment activities, giving young people the opportunity to choose what suited them best, meet new people and simply enjoy a summer evening in the city.
Njegoš Park thus became a place of youth, creativity, positive energy and togetherness, while also showing how public spaces can come to life when we open them up to diverse activities and the needs of young people.
With this kind of concept, we will continue in the period ahead – opening the city to young people, creating more space for their ideas and developing diverse activities where everyone can find something for themselves.
Thank you to everyone who was part of this evening!
