Podgorica is in the finals of the competition and, along with four other cities, is in the running to become the European Youth Capital for 2028.

Young people are a key resource in shaping the candidacy. We are working on writing the second-round application, with a strong focus and vision centered on youth participation.

The first-round application demonstrated that we have a high-quality document, realistic goals, and a genuine opportunity to earn this important title.

That’s why we need the support of all relevant social stakeholders, led by young people, to further develop the next steps of the application and achieve the set goal.
