The central event of Youth Week is scheduled for Tuesday, August 12, starting at 10 AM, with a full day of activities to mark International Youth Day.
At the Youth Club “Zona mladih” from 10 AM, you can take part in three interactive workshops focused on innovation and creativity, environmental protection, and mental health. Take the opportunity to speak with moderators Danijela Radeč, Branka Knežević, and Dr. Jelena Borovinić Bojović about the needs of young people and your personal perspective on improving the position of youth in the Capital City.
The panel discussion “Youth and Local Policies” will begin at 1:45 PM. You will have the chance to talk directly with decision-makers from the Capital City – municipal assembly members – about the needs and status of young people. This will also be a great opportunity to raise your voice and point out the real needs of youth to those in charge.
The exhibition “The Labyrinth of the Nineties” has attracted a lot of attention, and as part of the program from 4 PM, you will have a chance to visit the exhibition, guided by a curator from the Public Institution “Museums and Galleries.”
To wrap up the day, enjoy a concert by the band “Parampaščad” at 9 PM on the terrace of Kuslev’s House.
We invite you to register via https://forms.gle/zTqSXEyZeVzJnhow7 and take part in a full day dedicated to highlighting youth and their needs, as well as jointly creating future directions for making Podgorica a city truly tailored to its young people.
Please note: lunch will be provided for all participants between the interactive workshops and the panel discussion. Additionally, all participants of the full-day event will receive certificates of appreciation just before the concert.
🙌 We’re looking forward to your registration! See you at the celebration of International Youth Day. 🤩
