A representative of the Youth Office, Danilo Vučinić, was a guest during a session of discussions with representatives of institutions, organized as part of the newly launched cycle of the Program for Acquiring the Professional Qualification “Youth Activist,” implemented by the NGO Forum MNE.
On that occasion, he had the opportunity to present to participants the roles of different actors within the youth policy system, the process of decision-making and implementation, cooperation between the national and local levels, as well as the key challenges in the development and implementation of youth policy.
A special segment of the discussion focused on the title of European Youth Capital. Young participants were introduced to the entire process and the benefits that this recognition brings. Additionally, the discussion covered concrete mechanisms for youth participation in future processes.
It was concluded that the active participation of young people in decision-making processes is crucial for the development of a high-quality and sustainable youth policy. In this context, such meetings represent an important opportunity for the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and ideas, as well as for further empowering young people to recognize their role in the community and become drivers of positive change in society.
