At the initiative of a group of 16 young scouts from Barcelona, the Capital City of Podgorica, in cooperation with the Podgorica Tourist Organization and the Secretariat for Local Self-Government and Cooperation with Civil Society – Youth Office, provided accommodation and support during the group’s stay in Podgorica from July 16 to 17.

The scouts, currently on a journey through Montenegro and Albania, chose Podgorica as part of their official scouting route. Their visit reflects a strong dedication to exploring natural beauty, learning about local traditions, and promoting key values such as solidarity, community, and volunteerism. The Capital City proudly recognized this initiative as both valuable and inspiring, and extended its full support.

By welcoming the group, the Capital City reaffirms its strategic commitment to empowering youth, supporting volunteer engagement, and fostering international cooperation. This visit also highlights Podgorica’s openness to future collaboration with international organizations and youth initiatives that contribute to intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding.
