With great pleasure and pride, we announce that, following an exceptionally competitive selection process, an independent jury composed of representatives of One Young World in London has selected Sara Čabarkapa as this year’s scholarship recipient and the representative of Podgorica at the summit in Cape Town!

The large number of applications received, as well as the outstanding quality of candidates, once again confirmed the strength, dedication, and talent of the young generation of leaders in Podgorica.

After a careful evaluation and the selection of the three most outstanding candidates, Sara stood out as an individual whose work, vision, and energy truly make a difference in the community.

As the Coordinator of the Active Citizenship program at the Centre for Civic Education, Sara contributes daily to strengthening democratic values, encouraging active citizen participation, and empowering young people to become drivers of positive change. Her commitment to combating hate speech, advancing freedom of expression, and building a more inclusive society makes her an exceptional representative of Podgorica on the international stage.

We are confident that Sara will make the most of this opportunity—to gain new knowledge, expand her network, and bring back fresh ideas that will further enhance our community.
