The Office for Youth of the Capital City has launched the preparation of the Local Youth Action Plan for 2027, a strategic document that will define the key priorities and measures aimed at improving the position of young people in Podgorica.

The process was preceded by a public call for representatives of non-governmental organizations, while the Working Group also includes representatives of local government bodies, public enterprises and institutions of the Capital City, ensuring a participatory and cross-sectoral approach.

Particular value is added to this process by the fact that the plan is being developed in preparation for the implementation of the European Youth Capital 2028 title, while aligning local youth policy with European standards through the implementation of the European Charter on Local Youth Work. As an introduction to the drafting process, the Office for Youth organized focus groups with university students and high school students, young people from marginalized groups and the NEET population, as well as outstanding young individuals, in order to ensure that the future plan is based on the real needs and proposals of young people.
